Next, the improved power section now features universal mains to accommodate touring artists around the world and improved cab support down to 2.67 ohms. You also get a robust 4-band EQ to tweak and twist your sound, in addition to a Drive control that delivers plenty of tube-like grit.

The Tone Hammer’s voice is heavily inspired by the classic tube-powered bass amps of yore, sporting an exceptionally warm-sounding preamp section with plenty of dynamic saturation. The preamp’s punch is paired with a versatile EQ section comprised of traditional Bass and Treble knobs, along with an enhanced midrange section consisting of dedicated Low Mid and High Mid controls. Lastly, even Sweetwater’s pickiest tube-obsessed bassists can’t help but be impressed by the harmonic-rich saturation supplied by the Tone Hammer’s pummeling Drive control.
