The ’68 Custom Pro Reverb isn’t just a reissue; it’s a hot-rodded tribute amp. Fender designed this all-tube combo amp with a modified tone circuit that delivers greater tonal flexibility when used with your favorite effects pedals. The addition of a Mid tone control gives you a huge amount of control over how your guitar sits in the mix. Fender also tweaked the amp’s negative feedback to give it increased touch sensitivity, and it also starts to overdrive faster. Finally, the ’68 Custom Pro Reverb is loaded with a silky-sounding Celestion Neo Creamback speaker, delivering the same tone as the iconic Celestion G12M Creamback speaker in a lighter-weight speaker that helps keep the weight of this combo down.
