The Vintera II ’50s Stratocaster boasts a contoured double-cutaway body carved from a solid slab of alder — the balanced-sounding tonewood whose acoustic tonal characteristics have fueled some of the more enduring recordings of modern-day music. This Strat’s maple neck features an ultra-comfortable mid-’50s Soft “V” shape, and its 7.25-inch-radius fingerboard is laden with 21 vintage-tall frets.
