We were ecstatic when we got our first glimpse of the Fender Vintera II ’60s Bass VI. Since it first came to life in the 1960s, this bass was resurrected by Fender for other reissues, but the Vintera II version glows with renewed classic style and modern performance! For the body, Fender chose a classic bass tonewood of alder for supreme resonance and vibrational transfer. Additionally, a neck of maple with a mid-’60s “C” carve offers players a comfortable grip all along its 30-inch scale length. A slab rosewood fingerboard with a 7.25-inch radius completes the scene for a 6-string bass guitar that’s as enjoyable to look at as it is to play.
