Ibanez RGRTBB21 Iron Label RG Baritone Electric Guitar – Black Flat
Ibanez RGRTBB21 Iron Label RG Baritone Electric Guitar – Black Flat – The RG is the most recognisable and distinctive guitar in the Ibanez line. Three decades of metal have forged this high-performance machine, honing it for both speed and strength. Whether you favour a hardtail (fixed) bridge or our industry-leading locking tremolo system, the RG is a precision instrument. The RGRT features neck-through construction and reverse headstock.
The Iron Label line was originally developed with metal and nothing but metal in mind. We modded and tweaked until we got to the heaviest-hitting metal axes we’ve ever built. They’re purposefully spartan, and you won’t find a feature here that doesn’t contribute directly to a bone rattling, earth shattering tones these guitars pump out. Carrying forward that same philosophy, the next generation of Iron Label guitars take this raw metal energy to a completely new level. They sport totally blacked out looks, and their supercharged electronics amounting to some of the heaviest-swinging metal axes we’ve ever produced.

Active guitar tones without the battery
Ibanez loaded the Ibanez Iron Label RG Baritone with a pair of DiMarzio D Activator humbucking pickups. These high-octane pickups deliver a full and enriched harmonic quality that’s great for rhythm and solo playing alike. DiMarzio designed their D Activator pickups to eliminate the sterile edginess that plagues many active pickups. The bottom line is that they deliver all the advantages of active pickups without the drawbacks. Plus, these pickups don’t require batteries! What’s more, their massive headroom permits you to pick as aggressively as you want without flattening your signal. The guitarists here have found these pickups to have exceptionally balanced volume between the neck and bridge — you can switch between the two positions with zero drops in volume.
Incredibly fast Wizard II neck
One of Ibanez’s fastest necks to date, the 5-piece maple/walnut Wizard II neck on the Iron Label RG Baritone is an absolute pleasure to play. This slim and super-comfortable neck lets you pull off lightning-fast runs, arpeggios, and hammer-ons with ease, but it still gives you the substance you need for fretting chords. Capping the neck is a 24-fret ebony fingerboard that’s loaded with jumbo frets that are perfect for everything from wide bends to all manner of low-tuned djent technicality. From the first time you put your hands on the Ibanez Iron Label RG Baritone’s Wizard II neck, you’ll know you’ve got a guitar that was built with performance in mind.
