Jackson X Series King V KVXMG Electric Guitar Satin Black – X Series guitars are loaded with purebred Jackson DNA – including fantastic tone and ultra-fast playability – along with unbelievable value for 21st century guitarists. The Jackson X Series King V™ KVXMG has a poplar body, through-body maple neck and bound 12″-16″ compound-radius laurel fingerboard that curves more dramatically at the nut for easy chording and flattens out as it approaches the neck joint for low-action bends without fretting out. Active EMG® 85 (neck) and 81 (bridge) humbucking pickups deliver well-balanced tone with tight bass, glassy mids and crunching highs. Other fine features include Floyd Rose® Special double-locking tremolo, 24 jumbo frets, and three-way toggle switch. Cloaked in either Satin Black or Slime Green with Black Bevels, this royal axe is finished off with a Jackson pointed 6-in-line black headstock and black hardware.

Built for speed

Not many necks play faster than the King V KVXMG’s graphite-reinforced maple neck with laurel fingerboard and 12″–16″ compound radius. The radiused fretboard makes chords easier to form close to the nut and is flatter up the neck for faster lead lines. It also makes impossibly wide bends possible without fretting out. In other words, it’s effortless to switch between rhythm and lead playing on the King V KVXMG. The fingerboard binding and shark fin inlays give this guitar an added dose of classic Jackson character.

The combination of the poplar body, maple neck, and soulful string-through-body construction gives you a fully balanced tone you can sculpt any way you like. Active EMGs and a Floyd Rose Special trem system arm this guitar for true aggressioneering.

Active EMG 85/81 pickups make your amp scream

Jackson’s King V KVXMG’s active EMG humbuckers spit out enough heat to maximize your amp’s gain, sustain, and harmonic content. At the bridge position, you get an EMG 81 ceramic pickup, which offers blistering output and still sings with a balanced tone. In the neck position, you’ll find an EMG 85 alnico humbucker, which is voiced a little fatter and sweeter than the 81 and makes a more well-rounded option for rhythms. Master volume and tone controls give you total control over all three pickup positions.
