Vox AV30 30 Watt 1×10″ Analog Valve Modeling Amplifier

The Vox AV30 30 Watt 1×10″ Analog Valve Modeling Amplifier is a tube, two-channel, analogue guitar amplifier designed to provide a variety of analogue amp tones for guitarists playing live and recording in the studio. It features a 10″ speaker and delivers 30W RMS at 4 Ohms.

The preamp section offers eight different preamp circuits, ranging from smooth and clean to thick and distorted. It utilises a 12AX7 tube, and has switchable Fat and Bright circuits. Each channel has controls for bass, middle, treble, gain, and volume. The power amp section incorporates a 12AX7 tube. Switches are provided for different voices and damping settings.

Three independent, analogue-voiced, digital effects (chorus, delay, and reverb) are available. Each effect features adjustable parameters and an on/off switch. Integrate your stompboxes via the mono 1/4” effects loop. A dedicated 1/4” input is provided for connection to a VOX VFS2 or VFS5 footswitch (both available separately).

Connect a smartphone, MP3 player, or laptop to the 3.5mm (1/8”) stereo aux input, then play along with your favourite tracks. Plug in headphones via the 3.5mm stereo headphone jack to practice without disturbing neighbours.

• Crunch 2: Reproduction of post-1964 era VOX AC30 Top Boost with bell-chime clean and dynamic overdrive.
• OD 1: Reproduction that embodies classic rock tones of the ’70s.
• OD 2: Reproduction representative of hard rock overdrive of the ’80s.
• H.Gain 1: Reproduction of high-gain amplifier circa 1990s, ideal for anything from a heavy riff to a thick lead solo.
• H.Gain 2: Highest gain, suitable for 7-string or drop tuning.
