Wampler Pinnacle Deluxe V2 Overdrive Pedal – We took everything we loved about the original and added many options to make the pedal more versatile. Before now, the Deluxe was the same as the standard but with the boost on the stomp instead of a switch. The v2 comes with a new EQ, more control and much more versatility.

The first thing you’ll notice is the 3 band EQ. With this, you will be able to sculpt your tone like never before. We’ve also added bright and bass boosts, so you can get that fresh tone or the thump of a 4×12”. Then, we added the “Valve Screamer” based pre gain boost (that you can use when the pedal is bypassed) – we all know how good this style of circuit pushes gain stages… Then, the secret weapon. On the side is the SAG switch. This can allow you to remove that saggy crunch and tighten the response up dramatically, so – this v2 offers not only an updated take on a Wampler classic, but also a plethora of new features that will be irresistible to tone chasers everywhere! Legendary Pinnacle tone

Brian Wampler is often regarded as the expert on amp-in-a-box overdrive and distortion pedals. His original Pinnacle overdrive is one of his most popular designs here for the way it effortlessly nails the famous cranked British amp “brown sound.” The Pinnacle Deluxe V2 boasts that same touch-sensitive sound and playing experience with features that allow you to find your own version of that iconic electric guitar tone.

A wide variety of voicing options

The juiced sounds of a classic British amplifier stack is where the Pinnacle Deluxe V2 overdrive pedal begins. This V2 version separates itself from previous designs with a powerful 3-band EQ. These controls have a massive impact on the sonic personality and feel of this pedal. And the onboard Modern/Vintage toggle switch further specifies the pedal’s character. Add to that a Gain knob that sounds fantastic across the range from classic rock to modern metal, and you have one of the most versatile amp-in-a-box overdrive pedals on the market.

Independent Boost function

Stomp on the Boost footswitch, and imbue the Pinnacle Deluxe V2’s overdriven tone with screamer-style gain and tightness. Then dial in the Boost knob to find the perfect amount of cut and sustain. Need even more gain? Flicking the Boost/Gain toggle switch restructures the Pinnacle Deluxe V2’s gain-staging a bit to help you punch above the mix. Best of all, the Boost function is completely independent of the pedal’s main circuit. It’s like putting a separate “lime green” booster pedal in front of your overdrive!

Low-profile Sag switch

The very nature of the Wampler Pinnacle Deluxe V2 overdrive pedal is one of a red-lined amplifier stack that’s giving you everything it’s got. Just like the real thing, the Pinnacle Deluxe V2’s low end will compress gloriously the harder you push it. While this is a great sound, some players asked Wampler to add an option to tighten up this low-end response for more modern tones. Wampler obliged and added the low-profile Sag switch to the side of the unit. No matter what response or driven British amp tone you’re looking for, it’s in the Pinnacle Deluxe V2.
