Torrefaction is the process of thermally aging a piece of wood to emulate the sound and response of the well-seasoned timbers on a vintage instrument. Supported by scalloped spruce X-bracing and solid mahogany back and sides, the Martin 000E Retro Plus sings with a warm, crisp, and beautifully balanced voice that’s equally at home picking out delicate fingerstyle as it is serving strumming accompaniment.
