Martin SC-28E Acoustic Electric Guitar Aged Natural – Modern playability and classic looks—the SC-28E pairs technology with timeless style and tone, combining SC innovation and Standard Series appointments. Its patented features include a Sure Align® neck system that helps you play all the way up the neck, while the low-profile velocity satin neck barrel fits comfortably in your hand, and an internal soundboard recurve for added bass response. This gloss guitar features a spruce top with resonant East Indian rosewood back and sides, giving you deep bass and rich overtones for that classic Martin sound. It also features an ebony fingerboard and bridge, antique white binding, nickel open gear tuners, Fishman Aura VT Blend or LR Baggs Anthem electronics, and is strung with LUXE BY MARTIN® Kovar™ strings. The SC-28E comes with a molded hardshell case.

There have been numerous attempts at creating a comfortable acoustic that would appeal to electric guitar players. The SC-28E’s natural tone is stellar, we thought nothing of miking it up in the studio.

The feedback-fighting, natural-sounding LR Baggs Anthem pickup with Tru Mic technology is the result of over 30 years of research and advancement. This hybrid pickup system reproduces the natural tone of the SC-28E into an amp or sound system cleanly, clearly, and with full dynamics. Volume, Mix, and Phase controls nestle inside the soundhole for easy fingertip access. Mix control allows you to blend the augmented mic and under-saddle pickup to further dial in your sound.
